Kuya/Ate

In the beginning of each school year, new FSA members are paired up with a kuya, ate, or both, depending on their preferences. Members are matched up according to their personalities, majors, and personal interests. Think of them as your new older siblings, who will give you rides, tell you which classes to avoid, where to hang out… all of that. Scared your kuya or ate won’t like you? No worries – we take this program seriously because FSA takes family seriously. FSA also dedicates a week each semester to spending time with your siblings during Kuya/Ate week in the fall and Reverse Kuya/Ate week in the spring. So take advantage of getting spoiled in the fall, because in the spring, adings get to repay all of those rides, boba teas, and dinners so generously offered by their kuyas and ates. Beyond the fun and games, the Kuya/Ate program in FSA forms genuine ties that last a lifetime, no joke. Request a kuya/ate today!
