Sports Coordinator – Coordinates intramural sports for FSA and gives updates during general meetings. Also organizes Adobowl, the annual flag football tournament held every fall semester.
Hazel Lacson & Phil Nguyen
Dance Coordinators - Organize and schedule dance practices for various events such as DTJ, VISA, and Barrio Fiesta. Oversee choreographers’ work and manages practices to ensure that dancers are ready to perform.
Mary Elysee “Mae” Velasco
Mass Communications Chair – Collaborate with the VP of Mass Communications on creating a regular newsletter (“Barkada”) and meeting slideshow presentation. Duties also include regulating the progress of the MAFFIA groups, updating web blogs, and setting up the meeting tarp.
Coreen Cortero, Sara Chin, & Klea Jampasar
Culture Chairs – Assist VP of Culture with various events such as Fil-Am Month and Barrio Fiesta. Also responsible for culture segments during the general body meetings as well as keeping the FSA body informed of recent cultural events.
Teresa Dao
Multimedia Chair – Act as executive assistant to VP of Multimedia. Assist VP of Multimedia in duties laid out in the constitution. Work with other VP’s and Chairs to better integrate Multimedia productions with other areas of UFFSA (ex. Culture, Mass-Comm., etc.). Report to Executive VP and VP of Multimedia at least once a week to update them on the current status of projects, make suggestions, and to request advice, support, assistance, etc.
Alan Auyeung, Courtney Marasigan, & Lina Ly
Rush and Recruitment Chairs – Work closely with VP’s of Membership to recruit and retain membership in FSA. Help with different tasks such as tabling and organizing social events.
Brea Alotaya
MAFFIA Chair – Introduce freshmen and interested members to the three creative branches of FSA (Culture, Mass Communications, and Multimedia) through organized rotations. Manage the program in order to train a new generation of leaders.
Michi Velez
Historian - Updates and maintains a database of UFFSA memorabilia from current and previous years. The database shall include but not be limited to video, print/design (fliers, t-shirt, barkadas, etc.), photography, audio, etc. Organizing the production of memorabilia in the form of slide shows, website updates, and/or yearbooks, etc. that summarize the happenings of UFFSA during the year. Report to Executive VP and VP of Multimedia at least once a week to update them on the current status of projects, make suggestions, and to request advice, support, assistance, etc.
Annie Unanan & Jeremiah Adriano
Achievement Chairs – Responsible for giving special recognition and awards during general meetings to members who have given extraordinary service to FSA. Also recognizes members who have birthdays on the months the meetings are held.
Janh Castillo & Katrina San Juan
Semi-Formal Chairs – Organize FSA Semi-Formal which is held at the end of Fall semester.
Anthony Nguyen & Charlene Manaoat
Formal Chairs – Organizes FSA Formal which is held at the end of Spring semester.
Jessica Vergara
Gawad Kalinga Chair – Organize, plan, and be responsible for fundraisers and events to help end poverty in the Philippines.
Cj Crisologo
Student Ticket Distributor – Responsible for organizing the football block for home games. Chair must be able to attend block head meeting and distribute tickets to the correct members.
