Go-Fest is the biggest and hottest summer party in the Southeastern United States, hosted by the Filipino Student Association (FSA) at the University of Florida. Originating in the summer of 1996 to unite all FSA’s across Florida, it has grown to be THE event/party people look forward to for the summer. People from all over the state and some from out of state meet in Gainesville to kick Summer B off!

The party this year, Go-Fest 2010: “Get Outta Your Mind”, will take place at Costa Lounge (formerly Whiskey Room) on Saturday July 10th and will be featuring DJ Spinfamous! This is currently the premiere hot spot in Downtown Gainvesville, and we have secured it as the venue for Go-Fest! Go-Fest this year promises to be the hottest party yet, so come out and “Get Outta Your Mind”!

However, for the countless that came last year who remember the crazy lines, please make sure to get here early. Capacity may be reached again, so getting there early is highly recommended.

SUMMER TABLING!

Summertime is here, and with that there’s Tabling! Tabling for FSA starts next Wednesday, June 2nd, and Friday, June 4th, from 11AM - 2PM at the Reitz Union Colonnade. It’s a great time to have fun, hang out, and meet new potential FSA members! Come stop by!

[ELECTIONS PROCESS]

Each nominee will deliver a speech (2 minutes for president, 1 minute for all other positions), followed by a question and answer session (4 questions for president, 3 for all other positions). The members will then list pros and cons for each nominee and vote for each position.
